Grander Financial’s story began in 1986:
• 1986 Mr. Hsieh and team enter the mortgage market.
• 1994 Team achieves FHA approved lender status, Title 1 and Title 2
authorities and VA Lender approval.
• 1996 Team successfully migrates from Title 1 to private home equity
lending above 100 percent loan to value.
• 1998 Team successfully creates online lender, LoansDirect.com.,
approved in all 50 states.
• 2001 LoansDirect.com is acquired by E*Trade, merges and becomes
E*trade Financial.
• 2002 Team founds HomeLoanCenter.com. The first lender to provide full
spectrum of credit grade products, online, direct to the consumer, in
all 50 states.
• 2004 HomeLoanCenter.com merges with IAC/LendingTree, LLC. and
Mr. Hsieh is named CEO of LendingTree Loans.
• 2006 Mr. Hsieh serves on the Board “Counsel to Shape Change” for
Mortgage Bankers Association.
• 2008 Team launches Grander Financial, Inc.
